Teachers’ Day 2026: Celebrating the Guiding Lights of Education

Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and warmth on September 5^th, 2026, honouring the dedication, commitment and invaluable contributions of teachers.

The celebration followed a vibrant red colour theme, with teachers dressed elegantly in red. The school premises were beautifully decorated with red balloons, creating a cheerful and festive atmosphere.

The Dean and Senior Principal, Dr. Leelamma Thomas, delivered a heartfelt Teachers’ Day message, highlighting the significant role of teachers in shaping young minds and inspiring future generations.

Adding a special touch to the celebration, Master Sidharth Sreekumar dressed up as Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, the renowned philosopher, scholar and former President of India. He delivered a thoughtful and inspiring speech, reflecting on the values and ideals associated with the teaching profession.

The school choir added to the spirit of the occasion by singing a special Teachers’ Day song, creating a memorable moment for everyone gathered.

As a gesture of love, gratitude and appreciation, cards and flowers were presented to all the teachers, honouring their tireless efforts and dedication towards their students and the school community.

The celebration was a meaningful tribute to the guiding lights who continue to inspire, educate and empower young minds, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of their students.
