Academic Achievements

Project Name

We presented 81 students for SSCE (Class XII) examination and 77 students secured distinction. 16 students secured CENTUM (100 marks in various subjects). The school toppers are :

Teachers’ Orientation

Emphasizing the theme ‘HARMONY: Future begins here Be Future- Ready!’: Dr. K. V. Thomas, emphasized the importance of creating a balanced and harmonious environment within the school community without cacophony.

Dr. Leelamma Thomas, Dean & Senior Principal, focused on “A Teacher’s Vision,” inspiring educators to lead with purpose, compassion and a clear sense of direction.

1. Assembly – Well-planned class-wise assemblies were conducted focusing on thoughts, virtues, daily news reading, recitations, elocution, declamations, and socio-spiritual assemblies are conducted on all important days. 2. As part of Navy Week celebrations, Class XI students visited the Kochi Naval Base. 3. An Anti-Narcotics Awakening Seminar led by Shri Anoop K. V., Consultant Psychologist and Director of Active Mind Counselling Centre, was conducted for Class IX and X students. 4. The Anant Muskaan Oral Hygiene Health Education Program, a one-year project, is being conducted for primary students by a team of doctors led by Dr. Krishnaja from Amrita Hospital, Cochin. 5. The TOAST (Transform Oneself through Art, Stories & Theatre) workshop, led by Fr. Sheise Thomas SJ, Director and Editor of Snehasena and Tik Tik Life, Cochin, aimed to foster self-expression among students in Classes VII and VIII. 6. The Petals Globe Foundation conducted “SUN CONNECT,” a seminar on the benefits of sun exposure, led by Dr. Louis George, an orthopedic surgeon. 7. Field trips were organised to reinforce experiential learning for Psychology and Mass Media students to Raksha Special School for Child Care at Mattancherry, Cochin, and The Hindu’s new printing press, Mulanthuruthy, Cochin. 8. The live telecast of “Pariksha Pe Charcha – Exam Warriors,” led by Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, was telecast in the multimedia room. 9. The visit by Campion Interact Club volunteers to Marian Sneha Bhavan (a centre for the physically challenged) in Mamangalam, Cochin; Amrithayil Old Age Home in Mamangalam, Cochin; and the Blind School in Keezhmadu, Aluva, provided valuable lessons. 10. Volunteers from the Campion Interact Club visited the IMA Voluntary Donor Blood Centre in Ernakulam. 11. Bagless Day was celebrated, where students enjoyed a day filled with interactive and fun activities, games, and group projects such as salad and sandwich making, clay modelling, drawing, and colouring. 12. An integrated coaching programme for NTSE, JEE, NEET, and CUET was launched in collaboration with Brilliant Study Centre, Pala, to provide specialised training for Class XI students. 13. Students are encouraged to participate in the SOF Olympiad in various subjects at different levels. 14. A class picnic was organised for all classes at Mango Meadows Theme Park, Kottayam; Chittilappilly Square, Kakkanad, Cochin; Indriya Adventure Park, Kuzhupilly, Cochin; and Munnar.

SARK – Career Guidance Programme

SPARK, the Campion Career Guidance Cell, organised a career guidance programme for Classes IX to XII.

Career planning and the scope of different streams, top-listed colleges in India, and future job opportunities were presented by Mr. Shibu Kallarakkal, Career Consultant and Motivational Speaker from Ingrit Training Solutions, Cochin.

New Amenities

Project Name

We have successfully upgraded our infrastructure, enhancing the overall learning experience.

The school auditorium has been renovated with state-of-the-art soundproofing and an advanced LED projector system, enhancing the experience for events, presentations, and performances.

Skill Training

The AI and Robotics lab are fully operational, providing students with opportunities to enhance their skills.

To foster holistic development in students, we provide regular training in dance, music (both vocal and instrumental), chess, and skating. Regular evening sports and games coaching are organized to help students improve their skills.

On Saturdays, a collaborative music class with Nots n Tons is being conducted, focusing on vocal music, keyboard, and violin, to inspire students to embark on a deeper journey into music.

School Achievements
  1. P. T. Thomas Educational Excellence Award 2024 was presented by Shri Uma Thomas, MLA, in recognition of the school’s outstanding results in the SSCE & SSE (CBSE) examinations for the academic year 2023–24.

  2. Best Teacher Award was awarded to Mrs. Sherin Job, PGT of Mathematics Department, by Shri Uma Thomas, MLA.

  3. Campion School secured the First Runner-up Overall Trophy with 300 points in the Inter School Chess Tournament 2025 organised by Bala Sangtiam Ernakulam district.

  4. Campion School won the ever rolling trophy as First Runner-up Trophy in Orator Eloquent Competition organised by TocH Public School, Cochin.

Celebrations

Environment Day was celebrated on June 5th, marking the launch of the Green Waves initiative by distributing saplings to the students of Class I. The Induction Ceremony was held on 2nd July 2024, presided over by Dr. K. V. Thomas, Director, Campion School. The Junior Induction Ceremony was held on 11th July 2024, with an emphasis on fostering leadership qualities among students. Reading Week, Yoga Day, Onam, Independence Day, Teachers’ Day, Children’s Day, and Christmas were all celebrated in grand style, followed by an array of cultural events. The Campion Literary and Cultural Convention was held on July 19 and 20, 2024, to showcase students’ talents and inspire young achievers. The 78th Independence Day celebration commenced with the unfurling of the tricolour flag by Dr. K. V. Thomas, Director, Campion School, followed by a series of vibrant cultural performances.
 The Campion Rhetoric – an inter-school Public Speaking competition was held on September 6, 2024. Vandanam – International Grandparents Day was celebrated by the Grade V students on 10th September 2024, honoring the love and affection for the family’s greatest treasures. The event was graced by Rev. Fr. Capistan Lopez. The Interact Installation Ceremony, under the guidance of the Rotary Club of Cochin Lords, was held with grand festivity on September 11th, 2024. The Chief Guest, Asst. Governor 3201, Rtn. Dr. Kuriakose Anthony, installed the newly elected President and other office bearers of the Interact Club for the year 2024–25. The Interact Newsletter, “Transform,” was released by Rtn. Past President Major Donar Dr. K. V. Thomas.
As part of “Kainiraye Nanna,” an initiative by the Campion Interact Club to serve children in need, assistance was presented to the representatives of Caphernaum, our adopted orphanage. The third edition of the Campion Sports Quiz Grand 2024 – All-Kerala Inter-School Sports Quiz Competition, held on September 12, 2024, witnessed the participation of 14 schools. Dr. K. V. Thomas distributed trophies to the winners, celebrating their achievement. Children’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy. Dr. Leelamma Thomas, Dean & Senior Principal of Campion School, graced the occasion. There was a special assembly, followed by a campus rally where students showcased different Indian dance forms and dressed as their favorite cartoon characters. The 35th Campion Day, celebrated on 14th December 2024, was a magnificent showcase of talent, creativity, and the vibrant spirit of our students. Mrs. Uma Thomas MLA graced the occasion. CBSE board exam toppers were felicitated and the prestigious Best Campion Award was presented, followed by a series of captivating cultural performances by our students. The Campion Primary Annual Day, held on 17th December 2024, was graced by Prof. Dr. Arun A. U., Registrar of CUSAT. The performances by the students were truly outstanding, reflecting their hard work, creativity, and enthusiasm. Shastra 2024, an Inter-School Children’s Science Congress, was meticulously organized by the Shastra Trust in association with the Rotary Club of Cochin Lords and Campion School on January 17th and 18th, 2025. The distinguished Chief Guest, Rtn. AG Dr. Kuriakos Anthony, Assistant Governor of Rotary International District 3201, honored the winners. Campion School shone brightly by securing the overall trophy. The 35th Annual Athletic Meet, held on January 24, 2025, was a vibrant celebration of sportsmanship. Shri Ashraf A. A., Assistant Commissioner of Police, Traffic – East, Cochin, officially declared the meet open. Students displayed their athletic talents in various events, competing with dedication and enthusiasm. Shri P. K. Sabu, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Traffic – West, Cochin, presented trophies, medals, and certificates to the winners. The Graduation Ceremony, held on February 5, 2025, was graced by the distinguished Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. K. A. Zakkariya, Director of the School of Management Studies at CUSAT. The LUMINARIA – Multidisciplinary Exhibition was held on February 20, 2025, which was a remarkable showcase of creativity and innovation.

Students’ Achievements

Project Name

At our school, students have thrived not only in academics but also in extracurricular activities. 1. Kumari Hannah Sara Mammen of Class XC participated in the 2nd Okinawa Karate World Junior Tournament held in Japan on 8th August 2024. 2. Master Klayn Haadwin D’couth (XI A) secured the 7th position in the 100 m, 1-lap, and 10 km events, and the 8th position in the 200 m at the National Level Skating Competition conducted by the Indian Games Association. 3. Kumari Keya Ebbin (IX A) and Kumari Keyara Ebbin (VI A) won 8th position in the National Table Tennis Tournament (Under 17) held in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. 4.Kumari Mary Lisa P. G. (IX B) secured Gold and Bronze medals, and Master Joseph Joemon P. G. (X B) won a Bronze medal in the National Open Karate Championship 2024 held at Mylapore, Chennai. 5.Master Harun Harees and Master Muhammed Swalih of XI B secured 3rd position in INFINITUM 2024, a Maths Quiz (All India Quiz Competition) at the Zonal Level, conducted by the National Institute of Technology, Calicut. 6.Master Rishab Shankar, Kumari Vaishnavi Hrishikesh, Master Darsh B., Master Nishant Krishna, Kumari Riya Sangeeth, Master John Antony, Kumari Gouri Thamburathy, Kumari Meera Mohammed Bava, Kumari Eva Celin Antony, Kumari Rosmin Anna Jain (XII D), and Kumari Nandita S were recognized as Outstanding Delegates and received cash prizes for their exceptional representation in various Model United Nations (MUNs). 7. Master Dhariya Kumar Mistry, Master Udav Ajay Shenoy, Kumari Lakshmi Ajay, Master Nived Mohan, Master Ananthakrishnan S., and Kumari Nirmala V. Iyer won prizes and cash prizes in various chess competitions. 8.Master Agney Ajesh (VI A) and Caithelin Ignatious Tony (III B) won the Best Artist Awards at Fresco, the inter-school fest conducted by Rajagiri Christu Jayanthi Public School. 9.Master Vasudev Krishnan (X C) secured 1st prize in pencil drawing, and Kumari Mythily R (VII A) won 3rd prize in single dance at KAIROZ 2024, an inter-school cultural fest organized by Assisi Vidyanikethan Public School, Kakkanad, Cochin. 10. Master Rishabh Shankar (XI A), Master Harun Harees (XI B), and Master Anand Madhu (XI B) secured 1st prize in the Inter-Interact Republic Quiz – Edition 5, 2025, conducted by the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Change-makers.
