Organized by Shastra Trust and Rotary Club of Cochin Lords
Shastra 2025–2026 Children’s Science Congress began on an inspiring note with a warm welcome address by Rtn. Jojy Geevarghese, President, Rotary Club of Cochin Lords. The Keynote Speech was delivered by Rtn. Past President Dr. K. V. Thomas, Chairman, Shastra Trust 2025, setting a motivating tone for the day.
The event was graced by esteemed guests, including Rtn. PP Dr. Leelamma Thomas, Rtn. Praharsh R J Asst. Governor, Rtn. Sanjeev Kumar GGR, and Rtn. Unni K. M., Youth Chair, Rotary Club of Cochin Lords, who felicitated the programme. Rtn. Vishnu Das K, Secretary, Rotary Club of Cochin Lords, delivered the Vote of Thanks.
The Chief Guest, Prof. (Dr.) Parvathy A, H.O.D., Department of Biotechnology, CUSAT, captivated the audience with an insightful and inspiring address, encouraging young minds to explore the world of science more deeply.
The Valedictory Function commenced with another warm welcome by Rtn. Jojy Geevarghese, followed by an evaluation of the congress by Rtn. PP Dr. K. V. Thomas. The Chief Guest for the evening, Rtn. PDG Babu Joseph, Rotary District 3205, presented the Shastra Awards to the deserving students.
Students from various schools participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing remarkable talent, innovation, and scientific curiosity.

The Resolutions of Shastra 2025 were thoughtfully presented by Dr. Thanuja Ramachandran, Organizing Committee Member.
The event concluded with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Rtn. Vishnu Das K, leaving the audience inspired and looking forward to future editions of Shastra.
