Onam, a major annual festival for Keralites, was celebrated with immense joy and grandeur. The event was graced by the presence of our Ms. Mini Sinoy, Section Coordinator and featured a delightful blend of cultural performances and traditional art forms.
Our young students beautifully enacted the story of King Mahabali, Lord Vamana, and the origin of Onam. The graceful Thiruvathirakali dance, performed by the UKG students, was one of the day’s highlights. The Pre-KG children charmed the audience with an Onappattu (traditional song) while showcasing a vibrant Pookalam, symbolizing unity and happiness.
LKG students, dressed as tigers, brought excitement with their energetic Pulikkali performance, entertaining the crowd with this traditional dance form. Another highlight of the event was the Onam dance, reflecting Kerala’s rich cultural heritage.
Overall, the celebration was a wonderful tribute to Kerala’s traditions, creating cherished moments for all participants.
