GIFT OF READING PROJECT – A MAIDEN INITIATIVE TO INSPIRE YOUNG MINDS

The Gift of Reading Project, a maiden initiative launched on July 1st, was led by District Governor Rtn. G.N Ramesh of Rotary District 3205 in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Cochin Lords and Campion School. Aimed at promoting literacy and nurturing a love for reading among students, the event marked a meaningful start to a long-term vision.

Chief Guest Dr. Gourdas Choudhary officially inaugurated the project by distributing two volumes of books to students. District Governor Rtn.G.N Ramesh also participated in a thought-provoking panel discussion that highlighted the importance of reading in shaping young minds.
Rtn.Dr.K.V Thoms, Director of Campion School, delivered a stirring keynote address, emphasizing reading as a powerful tool for personal development and lifelong learning.
The event was graced by several distinguished dignitaries, including District Secretary Rtn. Thejus , District Director Rtn. Sudhin Vilingadan, Project Chairman Rtn.Dr. Antony Paul, Assistant Governor Rtn. Praharsh R.J, GGR Rtn. Sanjeev Kumar, Rtn. Dr. Leelamma Thomas, Club President Rtn. Joji Geevarghese and Secretary Rtn. Vishnu Das K.
