Confluence 2026–27: Empowering Educators for Excellence

The Teachers Enrichment Programme for the academic year 2026–27 was conducted under the inspiring theme “Confluence – Where Ideas & Dreams Meet.” The programme began with the Holy Mass, invoking God’s blessings for the new academic year.
Dr. K. V. Thomas, Director, highlighted the significance of the theme, confluence – intergrating ideas for deeper learning and meaningful outcomes. He emphasized that true learning emerges when diverse perspectives, values, discipline come together fostering critical thinking and holistic understanding, while Dr. Leelamma Thomas, Dean and Senior Principal, inspired the faculty by reminding them that teachers are “the light of the world.” Mrs. Malini Jayaram, Principal, addressed the staff regarding academic responsibilities, and Mrs. Ranilakshmi briefed the faculty on the programmes and activities planned for the year.
The programme featured insightful sessions by eminent resource persons. Mr. Abhilash Joseph, Academic & Cooperate Trainer, Counsellor. IPCAI Training Team Head, India, conducted a session on reflective teaching, continuous professional development, and creating a safe and supportive classroom environment, while Mrs. Aaliyah Bincy Mathew, Lifestyle coach and founder of Ayushmanthra shared valuable insights on Inclusive Education, Understanding Adolescents, and positive Teacher-student Relationships.
Mrs. Sherin Job and Mrs. Tess Pious also conducted a session on Competency-Based Assessment, emphasizing the shift from rote learning to skill-based education.
The programme concluded on an inspiring and motivating note, leaving the faculty empowered and prepared for a meaningful academic year ahead.
