XXXVI Campion Annual Athlete Meet: A Grand Showcase of Talent

The Campion Annual Athlete Meet commenced with a grand Opening Ceremony, inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Mr. Vinod Pillai, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Administration and Crime), who formally inaugurated the meet and hoisted the sports flag. The ceremony featured an impressive march past by the four houses, followed by the oath-taking ceremony of the school leaders, reaffirming their commitment to sportsmanship and fair play. A spectacular mass drill by the students added vibrancy and discipline to the event.

The symbolic torch and flame were ceremoniously handed over to the Chief Guest, Mr. Vinod Pillai, and then passed on to various leaders, including Master Rishabh Shankar, followed by other student leaders and sportspersons who have excelled in different sports and games. The programme also included colourful performances by primary class students, with engaging variety displays, yoga demonstrations, and aerobics, which were highly appreciated by the audience. As a mark of gratitude, a memento was presented to the Chief Guest.

The Closing Ceremony of the meet was graced by Mr. Vijayakumar S, Vice President of the Ernakulam District Basketball Association, as the Chief Guest. He distributed prizes to the winners and congratulated the participants for their spirited performances. The ceremony concluded with the lowering of the sports flag, marking the successful end of the Annual Sports Meet.

The smooth and successful conduct of both the Opening and Closing Ceremonies reflected the visionary leadership and sustained encouragement of Director Mr. K. V. Thomas, Dean and Senior Principal Dr. Leelamma Thomas, and Principal Mrs. Malini Jayaram, whose guidance greatly enriched the overall execution of the event.
