The Student Leaders Induction Ceremony for the academic year 2026–27 was held with dignity and enthusiasm, celebrating the emergence of a new generation of student leaders committed to excellence and service.
The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Dr. K. V. Thomas, followed by the hoisting of the school flag, signifying the spirit of unity, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to the ideals of the institution.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. K. V. Thomas inspired the newly elected council members to lead with honesty, humility, and determination. He encouraged them to view leadership not as a position of authority but as an opportunity to serve, inspire, and bring about positive change.
Master Ron Remy, the School Leader, administered the oath of office, affirming the council's pledge to uphold the values, discipline, and proud traditions of the school.
A touching candle-lighting ceremony added significance to the occasion. Dr. Leelamma Thomas, Dean and Senior Principal, presented a lit candle to the School Leader, who then shared the flame with the members of the Student Council, symbolising the collective responsibility of leading with wisdom, integrity, and compassion.
In his acceptance speech, the School Leader expressed heartfelt gratitude for the trust placed in him and reaffirmed the leaders’ commitment to serving with sincerity, teamwork, and perseverance.
The ceremony concluded on a note of optimism and renewed purpose, heralding a promising year of student leadership rooted in responsibility, collaboration, and the pursuit of excellence.
