Campion Rhetoric Contest 2026: A Celebration of Eloquence and Expression
Campion School hosted the Campion Rhetoric Contest 2026 on 24th October 2026, providing an inter-school platform for students to showcase their public speaking skills, confidence, and oratorical talents.
Rhetoric is the art of effective and persuasive speaking, enabling individuals to express ideas clearly, present arguments convincingly, and engage an audience.
The competition featured three events: Rhetorica (Elocution), Oratoria (Declamation), and Extrema (Extempore), with participants grouped into three categories: Standards V–VII, VIII–X, and XI–XII. The elocution topics included My Dream Invention – Imagining a Technological Tool That Helps People, social media: Connecting or Isolating? and The Ethics of Artificial Intelligence: Human Freedom in the Digital Age.
The contest assessed students on content, presentation, pronunciation, confidence, clarity of thought, and overall impact. It encouraged critical thinking, effective communication, and healthy competition among young speakers.
Campion School emerged as the Overall Trophy Winner at the Campion Rhetoric Contest 2026, bringing pride to the school and celebrating the talents of its budding orators.
