Understanding Changes, Embracing Health and Well-being
Campion School organised a workshop on Puberty and Menstrual Health and personal Hygiene for the girls of Classes V to IX on 4th November 2026.
The session was conducted by Ms. Jinas Hyder, a Clinical and Counselling Psychologist, representing Brand Side Story, India, in association with Whisper India.
The workshop provided valuable insights into the physical, emotional and psychological changes that occur during adolescence. The resource person discussed various aspects of growing up, including hormonal changes, mood swings, emotional well-being, personal hygiene and menstrual health. She also addressed common myths and misconceptions about menstruation, helping students develop a better understanding of these natural changes and the importance of maintaining good hygiene practices.
The session was interactive and informative, giving students an opportunity to clarify their doubts and openly discuss their concerns. It helped them develop greater awareness, confidence and a positive attitude towards the changes associated with adolescence. The workshop was a meaningful initiative towards empowering young girls with the knowledge and confidence to care for their health and well-being.
