On 23rd November 2024, the volunteers of the Campion Interact Club visited the School for Blind, Keezhmadu, Aluva to commemorate World Blindness Day. The visit aimed to understand the lives of visually impaired individuals and how they navigate their daily routines. It was a profoundly eye-opening experience for everyone, offering us the chance to interact closely with the students and staff.
To make the day even more special, we organized a cake-cutting ceremony, spreading joy and positivity among everyone present. The principal, explained the institution's functioning and the various facilities available for the students.

As a gesture of support, we donated an assortment of groceries and snacks to help meet the school's daily needs. The day was filled with warmth, smiles, and a shared sense of kindness, leaving us all deeply inspired. Interacting with visually challenged children helped us recognize the vital importance of accessibility and inclusion in every aspect of life, from education to the workplace. It also emphasized the role we can play in promoting a more inclusive society.
It served as a poignant reminder to cherish and value the gift of sight while embracing the power of giving and empathy.
