On the 6th of August 2024, Campion School hosted the TOAST (Transform Oneself through Art, Stories & Theatre) workshop under the guidance of Fr.SHEISE THOMAS S.J, Director & Editor of Tik Tik Life&Snehasena. This initiative aimed to create a nurturing environment where children could freely express themselves through various creative mediums. The workshop focused on providing a non-judgmental, non-competitive, and loving space that emphasized play, fun, silence, mindfulness, love, and co-learning.
The TOAST workshop was meticulously designed to be a sanctuary for creativity for the students of classes VII & VIII from 6th August, 2024 to 9th August, 2024. The workshop emphasized that no one wins or fails, ensuring a stress-free and enjoyable experience for all.
The TOAST workshop at Campion School successfully provided a loving and inclusive space for children to explore their creativity without fear of judgment or competition. The alignment with NEP 2020’s vision of holistic and activity-based learning was evident in the workshop’s design and execution. The children left the workshop with enhanced self-acceptance, better focus, and a deeper connection to their environment and peers. The TOAST workshop exemplified how creative and mindful practices can transform the educational experience, fostering a generation of empathetic, self-aware, and imaginative individuals.
