"Happy Classrooms for GENERATION ALPHA" – A Transformative Faculty Workshop

A stimulating workshop titled “Happy Classrooms for GENERATION ALPHA” was conducted for the faculty by Mr. Krishnaraj S, a seasoned Communication and Career Development Trainer with 17+ years of experience. He is the Master Trainer at ICT Academy of Kerala and has worked with reputed organizations like Malayala Manorama and Edubridge India. He is also a certified JCI and ASAP trainer and the author of “Swapnajolikku Vijaya Mantrangal.”

The workshop focused on understanding the distinctive traits of Generation Alpha—tech-savvy, visually driven, and emotionally aware learners. Mr. Krishnaraj highlighted the need for joyful and student-centric classrooms built on empathy, creativity, and meaningful engagement.

Teachers were introduced to practical strategies to boost student participation and motivation, along with methods to nurture emotional well-being and positivity in the learning environment. The workshop also explored how storytelling and effective communication can enhance classroom dynamics.

Emphasis was placed on adapting teaching styles to align with the digital fluency of Gen Alpha. The session encouraged educators to evolve from traditional roles into facilitators of vibrant, inclusive, and future-ready learning spaces.
